2009-2010 Fees and Policies
Fees There are 30 scheduled private lessons from September through May (calendar with dates is distributed at the beginning of the year). Lesson fees are averaged into 9 convenient monthly payments.
20 minute lesson $66 per month 30 minute lesson $95 per month 45 minute lesson $142 per month Pre-Twinkle Group $66 per month (includes short lesson)
Additional larger group classes may take place periodically (depending on the class makeup). A schedule of these would be distributed at the beginning of the year. Group class fee is $15 per class.
Payment Payment is due in 9 monthly installments at the beginning of the month (September through May), and may be mailed or put in my payment basket. You may also pay the entire tuition at once or in two payments.
Materials Students will need to rent or purchase appropriate instruments, accessories, and music as necessary. Please consult me before renting or purchasing an instrument, or moving up in size.
Lesson Attendance Students are expected to attend all lessons and group lessons, and to notify me in advance of an absence. Please remember to notify me if you must miss a group, as it can affect my lesson planning. Out of respect for others please arrive on time and disengage cell phones during sessions.
Missed Lessons Lessons which must be missed because of conflicts which arise in my schedule will be made up at a mutually convenient time.
Lessons which must be missed by the student for known conflicts (24 hours or more in advance) may be made up if scheduling permits. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will not be made up.
Communication For issues regarding scheduling or other administrative matters please use my e-mail pecorj@earthlink.net or voice mail 336-945-8666. The voice mail number goes directly to a the recording service and may be called at any time, day or night. Many issues surrounding the curriculum and home practice can be addressed in the lesson or group. When we need to speak in person outside of lessons please let me know and I will phone you at a convenient time. Please communicate any concerns or difficulties as they arise. The success of the child is best facilitated by direct and open communication on the part of the parent and teacher.
