Guitarist Joseph Pecoraro has taught guitar using the Suzuki method for over 20 years.      He has taken and registered 9 units of Suzuki teacher training with the Suzuki Association of the Americas, as well as holding Bachelor and Master degrees in guitar performance.    Along with his work with ‘Young Guitarists’, Pecoraro is a member of the Artist Faculty of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and appears as a guest clinician at workshops around the U.S.  He is also an accomplished concert artist, recording artist, and author and appears frequently as guest clinician across the U.S.  He offers Teacher Development courses nationwide as a registered Teacher Trainer with the Suzuki Association of the Americas.  For additional information visit his website.

Since 2002, guitarist and educator Marty Edwards has been passionately teaching musicians of all ages and skill levels.  He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Berea College Music Department and a Masters in Music Performance and Pedagogy at University of North Carolina School of the Arts.  Mr. Edwards has registered three units of guitar teacher training with the Suzuki Association of America and is committed to continuing his training and development as a teacher.  He fervently believes that children from all walks of life have extraordinary potential and ability.  Marty is also educated in the Alexander Technique, directs the guitar program at the West Forsyth YMCA, maintains an active performance schedule as a guitarist and is an accomplished visual artist.  For additional information visit his website.
